Its early april and at last my biking season has started. Just been out for the first run of the year and have got a big grin on my fizog. Seen a few bikers out in last 2 weeks but was still too much salt around for me, however the recent heavy rain seems to have washed the streets of Glasgow enough for me to get out again. Its been a while since november and my last ride snd thankfully i still remember what to do :) Last year was pretty good, managed a reasonable mileage, almost 7k, so i'm hoping for similar this year.
The bike is a 1300 Pan which i got 18mnths ago, so after my first full year with it, i have done some farkling over the winter to add a few useful techy things. Like what you ask - well mostly electrical work , the bike now has 2 car and 1 Hella type power sockets, 2 power feeds for GPS and phone at the bars, and a dedicated feed for a DIY heated jacket (more of this later). Over the top ?? well you never know when you might need to plug something in and having them fused separately means that spare fuses are available. Ok its belt, braces AND string.
